Ashley was invited to a friend's Club Libby Lu's Birthday party... She told me it was the best party she had ever been to... It was OVER the TOP! The party started up.. letting all the girls dress up, then they got to pick 5 make up items & got a back pack to put it in, then it was to the poodle shop, where they got to pick out a poodle, a shirt for the poodle (which ashley picked out a poodle couture shirt) and a rhine stone collar & a poodle carrying bag! OK then it was off to the make your own lip gloss department. Where they chose the flavor, the sparkles & the kind of lipgloss they wanted! WOW! Then it was off to the charm bracelet shop where they picked out a rhine stone bracelet & 6 charms to put on the bracelet!!! Are you overwhelmed yet!? & all I had told ashley was that she was getting her hair done!!! Mind you.. this is a "hannah montana 5 year old birthday party"!
Here is Ashley & the birthday girl Sarah.. I was a bit overwhelmed & had to take a break outside for a wetzel pretzel & some non-hannah montana blaring music.. This to me was the best part of the party! hahaha!
It was funny because everyone wanted the hannah montana hairstyle with the microphone headset.. I figured that Ashley wanted to do that as well... however, she decided after watching all her friends get the hannah montana hairstyle that she wanted to go with the princess tiara because she saw the microphone was falling off her friend Sarah & didn't want to have same problem. :) I just smiled. I'm glad she doesn't mind being different & a true princess hahaha!
Here is the performance they did after they were all dolled up with their manicure, make up & hair of choice.
OK I might have just died of embarrasment.. but YES I went out in public with her looking like this. We had mommy daughter date at Wahoo's Everyone looked at me like.. "What did you just come from a pagent!?"
:) Ashley didn't want to dance... she said she was nervous that people would laugh at her!! :)
