Merry Christmas 12.25.07

2007 The Lew Christmas.. It began around 7am... Ashley & Kailey woke up so excited to find the Star on the ceiling.. because once they found Jesus.. they could open their gifts.. Here they are waiting for us to say "GO!" & MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Our Christmas tradition of ornament exchange.. Steve got Charlie Brown & Lucy sitting on the couch... I got Minnie & Mickey shopping.. Minnie chatting on the cell phone & Mickey holding all the packages. Kailey got a princess ball because she always has a "ball" & ofcourse she broke it within an hour... :) Ashley got a ballerina...

Cynthia & Lerner hosted it at their house. Ham & Prime Rib was amazing. & All the little touches like reindeer cookies & yummy Jello.

Round 2 of openning presents. The kids were utterly spoiled... Kailey loved being able to open presents this year. The JOY of Christmas was seeing our families, enjoying their company & coming together in the name of Jesus. We thank God for our families and how each gave such meaningful and thoughtful gifts!

Big Small Group's Christmas Party! 12.23.07

The Hansen's hosted a beautiful Christmas party for our Big small group. We love going through life's ups & downs with our friends. All the girls are getting so big!

Caroling with this many kids.. and an ipod boom box was a site to be seen :)

After 4 years, Ashley finally decided it was ok to sit on Santa's lap for a photo, but still doesn't want him to come to our house! She is confused as to why he puts on a beard! me too!!

Listen carefully... Kailey likes to say "Poconuts" maybe only I think it is funny! :)

Steve didn't want me to post his 70's dancing debut... but as you can tell.. we had a lot of fun. We survived mexican taxi rides, partnered with another couple to get to a more private beach, rode a glass bottom boat where a guy dove off to pick up a sea urchin and fed it to other fish, watched shows, went to la roquetta & ixtapa island, swam with the fish, found out how hard it was to order chips & salsa because they really don't eat that there, saw gum wrapper purses, ate formal dining everynight with the kids and only broke one wine glass.. stayed in a one bedroom stateroom with a balcony and all took naps together & got up at the same time... :) It is funny what we think we need & what we really need. God truly shows us how richly blessed we are!
